Lamps - Incandescents, Neons

Incandescent lamps are electric light sources that heat the filament to incandescent state by electricity and emits visible light by thermal radiation. Incandescent lamps, basically consist of glass shell, filament, wire, feeling column, lamp holder. Incandescent lamps are still widely used because of its good color rendering, continuous spectrum and convenient use. Neons belong to a cold cathode gas discharge lamps. Neon lamps consist of glass shell, specially treated electrode, neon argon gas body. The electrode is connected to the external circuit through the lead wire and emits glow at the contact voltage between the two poles. Neon are not only used as an indication in electrical equipment, circuits, or instruments by virtue of its discharge luminescence and electrical properties, but also used in circuit elements and electrical equipment.
